What is the purpose of this department?

Responsible for ensuring Enactus Aston has the right skills and abilities at the right time. It does this primarily through recruitment campaigns, development sessions and engagement events.

What activities does HR & Engagement work on?

Top priority activity 1

Running 2 recruitment campaigns (Sept & Jan) including partnering with marketing function to advertise roles, organising time with our professional network for interviewers and testing new tools for better candidate experience.

Top priority activity 2

Managing the annual development calendar which involves sourcing trainers, coming up with improvement ideas and conducting the annual training needs assessment/analysis.

Top priority activity 3

Organise 2 large engagement events (Christmas and end of the year) so they are fun and celebratory but also an opportunity for networking.
