Every refugee comes to United Kingdom with a big dream. The whole Enactus team wants to be on their side through thick and thin.

We have introduced the Entrepreneurial support program for refugees who want to make their business dreams come true. We provide all kinds of entrepreneurial assistance, especially to refugees who want to build their businesses in the food industry. Refugees have extreme pride about where they come from and they want to show to the whole world how amazing their country is.

Food brings the whole world together! Knowing this, they decided to share their unique and amazing country recipes with the whole world. Keeping this in mind, we created the Global Recipe Book and it turned out to be a huge success. The Global Recipe Book has different varieties of amazing food recipes from all over the world. Global Recipe Book 2.0 turned out to be a huge success and we are very excited to announce the arrival of Global Recipe Book 3.0 very soon.

Last but not least, Enactus is in collaboration with ACH, ASTON SU, and SODEXO so the whole mission can have a bigger and broader impact!

About:

·       The main objective of our project Chance for Change is to empower refugee individuals by celebrating both their cultural heritage and cuisine. At the same time, we want to improve and address current societal food issues. This initiative focuses on two key components employment and entrepreneurial support.

·       Our Employment Support Program consists of a wide range of activities including workshops, mock interviews along with network sessions. These activities are aimed with the purpose to enhance employability of refugees and to assist them in maneuvering the job market. Along with this program, we also conduct English support classes which are fabricated by a mentoring program. In the program refugee students are paired with professionals that guide and help them to improve their English language skills.
